Demolition at the former Spartan Grain Mill located on S. Daniel Morgan Avenue began on Monday, April 12. Crews will spend the next two to three months removing the metal silos, feed mill, and various other metal structures from the site to make way for revitalization efforts. The former grain mill site will be assessed for environmental concerns using funds from the City’s Brownfields Assessment grants.
